摘要

The subject of this experiment is a process heater for diathermic oil, using a mixture of liquid and gas fuels. A study has been made on the impact of an additive of multifunctional aqueous solution, marked as PGP-60 on the operational parameters of the heater and the efficiency of the combustion process. It has been confirmed during the experiment that the use of the additive has lead to a chemical attack and partial sulphur removal of deposits, making them more brittle. An outstanding synergetic effect was found that manifests itself in lower temperature of flue gas, reduced aerodynamic resistance, reduced carbon monoxide emissions and ultimately the result being increased heater efficiency.
