摘要

In the this work we present a principal technological scheme for treatment of waste water from vegetable oil production. For this purpose a demulgator being a cross-linked co-polymer of polyacrylic acid with graft poly(ethylene oxide) has been used. The demulsifying agent is added to the aqueous phase as a dispersion in amount corresponding to the oil content. The process is running at room temperature for 15 min and with stirring. After the treatment the oil content in the water is considerably reduced, up to 0.2 mg/l and the water could be directly recycled in the oil production process or used for irrigation.
