摘要

The objective of this research was to develop an empirical equation to estimate capillary rise from groundwater in the saline-sodic soil area of the Songnen plain in China by taking into account the key environmental factors. The capillary rise was observed under controlled groundwater levels by lysimeters. Capillary rise has a close relationship with the groundwater level, the water content of the 10—40 cm soil layer, and leaf area index, which were used for capillary rise simulation. The model parameters were derived by the Levenberg-Marquardt and global optimisation calculating method. Modelling results indicated that simulated capillary rise had a good agreement with the observed data with a correlation coefficient of 0.955. Results from this study will provide useful information for the water sources management and soil secondary salinisation control in the Songnen plain of China.
