SUSTAINABLE APPROACH FOR A GOLF COUNTRY CLUB RENOVATION

摘要

A sustainable renovation scheme is required to maintain the attractiveness of a golf country club. A systematic approach including data firstly collected by literature surveys and followed by a Fuzzy Delphi method (FDM). FDM is utilised to identify commonly recognised factors for effectively nourishing the charm for a country club. Analytic hierarchical process (AHP) is then used in this study to prioritise the design criteria from the relevant golf club designers and operators. Results showed that the social responsibility is the most crucial design criterion for maintaining the charisma of a country club, whereas the construction cost control is the least important one. Research results may offer insight into a systematic approach in making the necessary design-decision for golf club operators and designers.
