CORRELATIONS BETWEEN STRATEGY INNOVATION AND INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURE, SUSTAINABLE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE IN ECOLOGICAL INDUSTRY

Under more competitive environment, ecological industry has to prepare effective economic strategies for the continuous survival and development. Enterprises are facing the economic impact and test of liberalisation and internationalisation. It is not enough to simply rely on technology innovation ability to stand out and win advantages. In various industries, the competitive position of an enterprise would be strengthened due to proper competitors; a benign competitor could induce the ambition of an enterprise to reinforce the sustainable competitive advantage and improve the entire industrial structure. Aiming at ecological industry, the employees in Taiwan are sampled for 400 copies of questionnaire survey. Total 273 valid copies are retrieved, with a retrieval rate of 68%. The research results reveal: (1) positive and significant effects of strategy innovation on industrial structure; (2) positive effects of industrial structure on sustainable competitive advantage, and (3) positive and remarkable effects of strategy innovation on sustainable competitive advantage. According to the results, suggestions are proposed, expecting to help domestic ecological industry create the development space and sustainable competitive advantage through strategy innovation.
