摘要

This issue of our journal sees another change. The first change was in 2011 when we noted the passing and the contribution of our founding editor-in-chief, Teck-Meng Tan. In this issue we mark with sadness the passing of Raymond WY Kao, who had inspired the journal when he was a visiting professor at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 1992. Raymond passed away on 26 April 2019 at the age of ninety-six.
