摘要

Basic experimental studies have been made for the enhancements of nucleate boiling heat transfer outside the smooth tube under alternate electric field by using R11 (CCl_3F) as the working fluid. Four kinds of electrodes, namely, wire electrode, needle electrode, cutted tube electrode and in-fin tube electrode have ben used duirng experimetns. The results show that, votlage, heat flux and the electrode type have great effects on the heat trnasfer coefficient. By comparing with pool boiling without electric field, the enhancement factor for the boiling heat transfer under 2.3 kV alternate voltage supplied tis about 15 times when the in-fin tube electrode is used.
