摘要

We hope that the journey we began two years ago to develop a special issue of this Journal devoted to representations in engineering practice will be of interest to its readership and will both lead to additional research on representations and inscriptions in engineering education and help engineering educators explore ways they can apply the research and theory presented in this issue to improve their instruction.
