NEC Tokin Strives to Become Full Provider of Energy Solutions

NEC Tokin Corp. plans to expand its rechargeable battery business by providing an "energy solution" with its batteries and capacitors. NEC Tokin has been a major supplier of rechargeable lithium cobalt and lithium manganate lithium ion batteries mainly to cellular phone equipment manufacturers.
