Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. brought out in September the Xacti DMX-HD1000, one of the world's smallest and lightest full high-definition (full-HD) digital movie cameras. At a volume of 272cc and weight of 268g, the DMX-HD1000 supports full-HD recording with resolutions of 1,920 horizontal and 1,080 vertical lines.
