TMD Scheme Tweaks Gamma Items Separately, Saves Space

Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology has developed a poly-Si TFT panel using advanced capacitive-coupling driving. The panel performs independent gamma correction for each RGB subpixel without increasing the scale of peripheral circuitry. TMD has simulated the display image for this system, and has examined the optical characteristics of a 5.6cm prototype poly-SI panel using this technology.
