Ulvac's Turnkey Solution Helps Lower Solar Panel Cost

A broad range of solar industry players took part at the Solar Power International 2008 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, United States from Oct. 13 to 16. The event highlighted the vigor of the industry despite perceived global economic woes. Participants include manufacturers of solar cells and modules, manufacturers of inverters and components, manufacturers of materials and equipment, installers, as well as investors. Since the exhibition started in 2004, this year's event had one of the largest turn out, attracting about 425 exhibiting companies, 125 lecturers and over 23,000 participants and visi- tors from 17 countries. For the past five years, Solar Power International has evolved into one of the largest solar trade show in the United States.
