Tamura Upholds Eco-friendly Reflow With Ductless Machines

Highlighting environment-friendly features, the TND33-509LH N2-capable ductless reflow equipment developed by Tamura FA System Corp. has been released in the market on full scale. Compared with its predecessors, the new reflow machine was designed to consume low power and to emit less exhaust gases such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Tamura FA System is a subsidiary of Tamura Corporation and is in charge of the soldering equipment business. According to Hisashi Kimoto, General Manager, Sales Department, "Environmental issues, including global warming, the depletion of the ozone layer in the stratosphere because of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), and dioxin contamination, have been in the forefront. Presently, concerns on the environment and energy savings have been drawing greatest interests on the market."
