Sanyo Introduces First 4-LCD Optical Engine Projector

Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. is set to introduce in September its LP-XP200L projector, which features the innovative 4-LCD optical engine for rich and true color reproduction. The newly developed optical engine combines the conventional 3-LCD system with a Color Control Device, which independently controls the yellow component to realize brilliant and true screen projection. Compared with conventional models, the color expressive power of the LP-XP200L projector is improved by about 20 per- cent, exhibiting bright and real color reproducibil-ity. This feature is expected to suit the demand of the digital signage market, where demands for projectors capable of projecting images in brighter environment continue to increase.
