New Factory Lifts Epson Toyocom's Production Capacity

Epson Toyocom Corp. has completed the construction of a new factory building in its production base in Thailand, the Epson Toyocom (Thailand) Ltd., which will produce compact, high-performance AT-cut resonators and oscillators starting this month. Epson Toyocom has infused ￥2.5 billion for the new production facility, which has a total area of 16,000sq.m, expanding the company's total factory area in Thailand to 25,920sq.m. The number of employees will be increased as well from about 1,400 to about 3,500.
