Location-Based Services Battle at CES 2008

Portable Navigation Devices (PNDs) featuring innovations in connectivity, design, ease of use, performance and multimedia entertainment took limelight during the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2008) held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States. One of the notable PND features that were highlighted during the show is the 5-inch large screen, which has become ideal for larger vehicles that need PNDs with larger screen. Companies such as Garmin and Magellan have introduced the 5-inch screen, which bring forward easy-to-use interface, route planning features and multimedia entertainment.
