Onkyo Receiver Combines Networking, HD Radio

Onkyo has designed its TX-NR905 integrated 7.1-channel audio-video (A/V) network receiver to deliver the same level of audio and video performance as that offered by separate pre-processing and amplification components. The TX-NR905 is constructed so that the power amplifier block and the pre-amplifier coexist on the same chassis, yet are isolated to promote performance comparable to that of separates. Even in the way the receiver is assembled, the isolation of each part has been carefully considered right down to the smallest detail. For example, to suppress any vibration from the chassis, instead of screwing the pre-processor and power amplifier to the chassis, the TX-NR905 uses plastic dampers.
