The 18th Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Equipment Exhibition (BIRTV2009) was held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China, from August 26 to 29. Exceeding last year's turnout, around 419 companies took part at this year's show and occupied 11 halls. Also, a large number of relay vans and TV camera heads were installed, making outdoor demonstrations more visible. The total number of visitors also reached 50,000.
