Given that this is a book about the supposedly paperless world of ilie Web and exists in an era in which books as objects are becoming somewhat rare commodities, it was an ironic pleasure to unwrap this book from its plastic sheathing to feel a well-made item of physical weight and discover on closer inspection that it also had intellectual heft. The first task in evaluating this book was to determine if there was an index, which is vital for readers who are new to the world of the Web and its use in health care. It passed the index test with flying colors.
