Growth of Amaranthus dubius was studied in the vermicomposted sludge of wastewater treatment units of seafood processing plants. Among the treatments, the best growth parameters like plant height (28.1cm), number of leaves (27), leaf length (3.9 cm) were observed in vermicomposted sludge. All the growth parameters showed significant (p<0.05) positive correlation with duration of experiment. The vermi-composted sludge positively promoted the growth of A. dubius.
