摘要

The beneficial microorganisms (Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi-AMF; Plant growth promoting rhizo microorganisms - PGPR's) in medicinal plants particularly Solarium xanthocarpum is limited and study was undertaken to examine the species richness, density, diversity and percentage of root colonization of AMF and PGPR's associated in S. xanthocarpum. Native AM fungi were multiplied in the roots of Allium cepa L. in pot culture. A pot trial was conducted to study the influence of native AM fungus Glomusfasciculatum and some PGPR's (Bacillus coagulans and Trichoderma harzianum) on shoot and root growth, nutrition and productivity of S. xanthocarpum. There was positive correlation between mycorrhizal root colonization and plant growth.
