Empirical Analysis of Manufacturing Competence in Chinese State- Owned Enterprises

During the past ten years, most of Chinese State - owned enterprises have already entered market economic system and faced very serious competitive environment. In this paper, we use data from the 1997 Manufacturing Future Survey (MFS) conducted in China to observe manufac- Turing strategies that some Chinese State-owned enter- Prises use to improve their competitiveness.
