摘要

Charlotte Ashby received her PhD in History of Art from the University of St Andrews in 2007 and is currently lecturing in the Department of History of Art and Screen Media at Birkbeck, University of London. Her research interests focus on tensions between the national and the international in Finnish art and design of the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries. She also works on Viennese design of the same period, following her role as post-doctoral research fellow in the Vienna Cafe Project at the Royal College of Art and Birkbeck. She is co-editor of The Viennese Cafe and Fin-de-siecle Culture which is forthcoming with Berghahn Books.
