The Federation of Animal Science Societies (FASS) announces the opening of a period of public comment for the revision to the Guide for the Care and Use of Agricultural Animals in Teaching and Research (the Ag Guide). The Ag Guide has been revised by a committee of 62 animal scientists, veterinarians, and engineers over the past year. The revision has been through a process of peer review by three fully constituted Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees at major institutions. FASS requests comments to improve the document's clarity and consistency with the current scientific literature.
