摘要

Ramularia collo-cygni (Rcc) has gained increasing importance as the causal agent of a novel leaf spot disease on barley, Ramularia leaf spot (RLS). Thirty-four different spring barley genotypes were evaluated for resistance to RLS. Evaluations were conduc-ted in replicated experiments in growth chambers (with leaf seg-ments) and under greenhouse and field conditions (with whole plants). In the field experiments and whole plant inoculation trials in controlled conditions, plants were evaluated at late growth stage (65-70) for percentage of necrotic leaf area due to RLS on leaf F-l. In growth chamber experiments, after inoculating leaf Segments with 1*105 spores/ml, the number of necrotic spots on individual leaflets was counted after 15 days post inoculation.
