Twiner can have a powerful political impact. We've seen it with the Arab Spring back in 2010, the aborted coup d'etat in Turkey, and even the Donald Trump insurgency in the United States. With instant delivery and worldwide reach, Twitter (and similar social media tools like Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp) can be considered cyberweapons in their own right.
