Investigation of a Local Spatial Structure of Broadband Background Component of Geomagnetic Pulsations

摘要

The earlier developed method for deep (of tens of dBs) compensation of geomagnetic pulsations at remote points is applied to the analysis of a local spatial structure of a broadband background component of pulsations in Bands Pc2-4 (with Periods of 5 to 150 s). In the field of pulsations, several relatively broadband (Δf/f~l) geomagnetic- background spatial structures with exponential energy spectra are discovered in the fre- quency band, which is common for remote points. The characteristic spatial scale of the structure of a relatively short-wave background component in the horizontal plane (<140-450 km) is estimated.
