This book is about remanufacturing of end-of-life products with particular emphasis on quantitative models for design, planning and processing issues faced by remanufactures. Rapid technological advancement in product technology and the customers' desire for newer models of products have resulted in shorter product life cycles and premature disposal of products. This has led to serious depletion of virgin resources and given rise to increasing amounts of waste and pollution.
