摘要

The quality of environmental data and information, such as accuracy, validity, integrity, consistency and accessibility, often affects significantly the result and performance of an environmental study or decision. This study is to employ systems approach and life cycle assessment technique to plan an integrated framework for an environmental information system (EIS) and to establish a systematic set of procedures and methodologies for controlling the accuracy and precision of the data used in the EIS. In addition, the concept of ecological evolution was collaborated into the EIS in order to eliminate unfitted components in the EIS through competition and improve the robustness of the EIS.
