THE GRANDEST CANYON IN THE WORLD-THE GEOGRAPHICAL DISCOVERY OF THE YARLUNG ZANGBO RIVER CANYON

The Yarlung Zangbo River Canyon, which encompasses Mount Namjagbarwa, is one of the few mystical forbbiden areas remaining on earth and is home to many profound geological and biological mysteries awaiting exploration. In recent years, scientists from the Institute of Geography and Institute of Biology under CAS have climbed Mount Namjagbarwa four times and have Ventured into the Canyon area to conduct multi-disciplinery explorations and comprehensive investigations. Their efforts have initially uncovered the veil of mystery surrounding the region.
