摘要

The intensive extensional deformation in the eastern part of the Chinese continent in Late Mesozoic time (J_3 -K_1) caused the formation of large-scale fault basin system in Northeastern China block, metamorphic core complexes in North China block and widespread volcanic eruption and granitic intrusive in eastern China. Generally, the deformation has been interpreted as subduc- tion tectonics along the eastern continental margin.
