BEECHCRAFT T-34 MENTOR IN CANADA

Shortly after the last harvard 4 rolled off the line at the canadian car & foundry (CCF) plant in Fort William in January 1953, it was announced that CCF would build Beechcraft T-34 Mentors. One hundred twenty five were eventually produced, 25 for the RCAF and 100 for the USAE The first CCF Mentor flight was made 31 March 1954 by Flying Officer R. Taylor. The Mentors were the last complete aircraft built at the Lakehead plant.
