EDITORIAL

摘要

With this issue we complete the set of papers for the 2015 volumes. In addition to the end of year index we include several interesting mixed papers for your enjoyment. Firstly we have a paper by a regular contributor to JBIS Charles Cockell. He explores the purpose of art and the artists beyond Earth. There are many artists who have contributed to the work of the British Interplanetary Society since its formation, from Ralph Smith to David A Hardy to Adrian Mann, and I'm sure they more than others will appreciate the good efforts by this author to lay out the reasons why art is an integral component of the scientific endeavour, and not something that should be seen as separate from it.
