On Problem of Reversal of Alternatives Ranks while Multicriteria Estimating

The phenomenon of reversal of alternatives ranks, which appears while using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for ranks computation, is investigated. The sufficient condition of the absence of reversal of ranks is found. Fulfillment of this condition for different methods of computing alternatives weights is analyzed. It is shown, that the sufficient condition of the absence of reversal of alternatives ranks is fulfilled, while using in the Analytic Hierarchy Process Advanced method alternatives unnormalized weights, computed by methods of direct estimation or "line".
