摘要

We propose principles of development of technique and software for estimation of flooded zones with usage of satellite data and technologies of geoinformatic systems for automated processing of digital information. Method is based on classification, construction of mask of water surface and automated determination of squares of flooded territory by threshold value of spectral brightness, which is obtained by analysis of one-dimensional histogram of spectral brightness in NIR-band. Usage of the developed technique is shown by estimation of scale of flood areas of Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk and Ternopol regions during flood in July 2008.
