Alina Slesinska: sculpture, idea and model

Observing Slesinska since her first exhibition at Kordegarda, through exhibitions in Poland and reproductions of her current works, one can conclude that the sculptor has changed her manner of dealing with sculptural form .... Those which are currently being shown at Krzywe Koto ... do not constitute a sculptural project, such as would result from cooperation with an architect, but rather they are a sculptor's dream about the form - in the field, by the water, against the clouds. So, they are not models but sculpture-models ... which contain sculpture's qualities, when you take into account their scale.
