Photography & Modern Architecture in Spain 1925-1965 presents the work of those photographers whose pictures helped shape the collective imagination of the modern Spanish architectural scene. It is the product of the eponymous Exhibition held in Madrid at the ICO Foundation from July to September, 2014, and it is also an outcome of a sponsored research project led by Inaki Bergera and developed by a team of sixteen researchers from different universities in Spain. This book is an addition to the large number of publications that have lately been calling for the recognition of photographers of architecture, and is directed at readers in both Spanish and English, a relevant point given the dearth of publications on Spanish architecture written in English.
