1. Welcome. President William N. Manner called the meeting to order and encouraged the new members of Council to participate. 2. Minutes. The minutes of the June 20 and 24, 2007 meetings were previously approved electronically. 3. Journal Advertising. Ways to encourage journal advertising were discussed. The Ways & Means Committee is the main route for increasing advertising exposure and soliciting advertising dollars. It was felt that a list of benefits should be prepared to send out to prospective advertisers. Mrs. Adcock reported that a one page flyer promoting the journal had been prepared several years ago and that it might be a start for a new updated flyer.
