On November 9–11, 2007, the Society for AcupuncturernResearch (SAR) hosted an international conference tornmark the tenth anniversary of the landmark NIH [NationalrnInstitutes of Health] Consensus Development Conference onrnAcupuncture. More than 300 acupuncture researchers, practitioners,rnstudents, funding agency personnel, and healthrnpolicy analysts from 20 countries attended the SAR meeting,rnheld at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore,rnMD, and co-hosted by the University of MarylandrnCenter for Integrative Medicine.
