Automating processes and streamlining procedures enable airports to reduce unnecessary costs and better manage the flow of passengers and cargo. ACI is involved in cross-industry initiatives that seek to simplify and enhance the passenger experience, for example for check-in and baggage drop facilities. In addition to working closely with aviation partners to develop new Recommended Practices for the exchange and flow of information, ACI has created a new IT World Standing Committee to guide the association in the next steps.
