摘要

The Oceanic Integration and Interoperability Facility (OIIF) at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in southern New Jersey was constructed to facilitate and advance today's NextGen technologies and objectives. The OIIF laboratory was a logical addition to the existing Oceanic Laboratory, where government acceptance testing and procedural analy-ses of oceanic air traffic automation systems had been per-formed for many years. The Oceanic Laboratories, includ-ing the OIIF, have continued to make significant oceanic air traffic control enhancements that can be applied through-out the global air traffic environment. Recent expansion and enhancement of the OIIF lab can now accommodate a broader range of NextGen tasks with FAA or corporate part-ners to explore new air traffic enhancements and concepts.
