摘要

This paper investigates real-time target determination, recognition andrntracking with an airborne video system. The visual navigation and targetrntracking in an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are of great interest amongrnscientists. To achieve real-time target determination and tracking, we havernto accomplish two missions: to determine the “feature” of the target inrnreal-time, and to update the “feature”. This paper develops an algorithm torndefine the feature of the target in real time. With experiment data, we alsorndemonstrate the validity of our algorithm. Our algorithm is potentiallyrnapplicable to airborne video tracking system in a UAV.
