A faculty member asked Eridan J. Thompson, Access Services Librarian at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, if she would be willing to create a branch library for her department. She wanted Eridan to allow her to use library software to check out equipment in her academic department. Eridan asked the list if anyone else had done something similar. One concern she had was the privacy of patron records. Most circ people who responded said they had been asked this question but always said no.
