The effect of the extent of internal unsat-uration and branching on the properties of the acry-lated polyester films was investigated. Polyester acrylate resins were prepared based on adipic acid, maleic anhydride, neopentyl glycol, trimethylolpro-pane, and acrylic acid. As the reactive diluent, trime-thylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) was used. Experiments were planned according to the three-factor, three-level Box-Behnken design. Coating film properties were evaluated in terms of the independent variables, amount of branching, internal unsaturation, and reactive diluent.
