摘要

Zn_(33)Sb_(67), Ge_(20)Te_(80), and Au_5Te_(95) (in at. %) are used in a super-resolution readout optical disk combined with a PtO_x recording layer. A high carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR) (40-42 dB) was obtained at a 200 nm mark length, which is smaller than the resolution limit of the optics (265 nm) used. The compositions of the above materials are close to a eutectic point of the binary alloy system. The results indicate that it is a key for the material selection to obtain a high CNR in super-resolution readout.
