The experimental results of the proposed circular CFDLTrncolumn and the conventional circular CFDST columnrnspecimens under the reversed cyclic lateral force and constantrnaxial force ratio at 0.5 lead to the following conclusions:rn(1) The progress of axial compressive strain of the proposedrncircular CFDLT column is remarkably slower than that of thernconventional circular CFDST column.rn(2) The lateral force of the proposed circular CFDLT columnrndecreases more slowly than that of the conventional circularrnCFDST column.
