Honduras opts for Japanese-Brazilian digital TV standard

The Honduran government has announced the adoption of ISDB-T (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting - Terrestrial) as the standard for digital terrestrial TV. In 2007, Honduras had opted for the North American ATSC system, but eventually reversed that decision. Thus, Honduras is the third country in Central America to choose the Japanese-Brazilian standard and 15th in the world.
