Canada orders ship-to-shore connector

Montreal-based shipyard Navamar Inc has been awarded a CAN12 million (USD9 million) contract to build five ship-to-shore connector systems forthe Royal Canadian Navy(RCN). Awarded after a competitive process as part of the overall Joint Support Ship project budget, the modular and configurable connectors are intended to facilitate the transfer of cargo and equipment from ship to shore.
