USAF plans destruction of cruise missile hardware

The US Air Force (USAF) is planning a programme to dispose of hardware resulting from a programme to dismantle its stocks of Raytheon AGM-129 Advanced Cruise Missiles (ACM).rnIt is looking for a contractor that is able to rapidly destroy this material.rnA formal solicitation is expected by the end of July, with a closing date around the end of August. The work is to begin in October 2009 under a contract covering one basic year followed by four one-year options.
