Tomahawk weapon control systems to adopt COTS technology

The US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) announced on 7 July that it intends to award a contract to Lockheed Martin for continued support of the Tomahawk weapon control system, writes Doug Richardson.rnThe contract will cover an initial year, followed by four priced option years, and includes the continued sustainment support of deployed fleet assets and the completion of modifications already in hand to the existing Tomahawk Tactical Weapons Control System (TTWCS) software.
